About Peyton Ushery

According to Coach Chad, Peyton is one of, if not the best centerfielders in the 2028 class. “Peyton has an exceptional ability to read the ball off the bat, better than any player I've ever coached.” As a left-handed hitter, she possesses genuine gap-to-gap power and is also a threat to slap or lay down a bunt. Combining her defensive skills, batting average, power, base-running ability, and a strong, accurate arm makes her the epitome of a five-tool player. One coach described her as the “complete package,” while another labeled her a “can’t-miss prospect.”
In 2024, Peyton continued to excel, achieving a .429 batting average for the season, a .490 on-base percentage, and leading Coach O’Neal’s Impact team with 43 stolen bases. She shines on big stages, evidenced by her impressive .526 average during her time in Colorado last year and played a crucial role in her team’s victory at the Top Gun Invitational, hitting .400 for the week while commanding center field in Kansas City.
This past fall, she raised the bar even higher, leading Coach O’Neal’s squad with a .612 average and a 1.539 OPS. On the recruiting front, Peyton is a highly sought-after prospect, receiving personal invites to camps from programs like Oklahoma, Tennessee, Auburn, LSU, UGA, and Florida, to name a few.
Peyton also excelled in her freshman year playing Varsity Softball at Lassiter High School, earning 1st Team All State, All Region, and All County honors as a freshman, and was recognized by Prep Softball as one of the top prospects in the 2028 class. Coach O’Neal stated, “With her work ethic and determination, the sky is the limit for Peyton.”
