We’re excited to introduce a major upgrade to the Armor Elite website: coaches can now update player profiles directly.
This first release is focused on giving coaches immediate control over their team and player information — ensuring accuracy, speed, and ownership — with more self-service tools coming soon.
What’s Live Now
Coaches can now log in and:
Update player profiles directly on the website
Edit key player details including name, number, positions, graduation year, GPA, bio, and recruiting information
Upload and replace player headshots, logos, and media gallery images
Retire players when needed (removes them from public team pages without deleting records)
All updates are reflected immediately across the site.
Why This Matters
This update was designed to eliminate bottlenecks and improve visibility for our athletes.
Faster updates — no waiting on an admin to make changes
More accurate recruiting profiles — colleges see current information
Coach ownership — each team controls its own roster
Simply put, the people closest to the team now control the information representing it.
What’s Coming Next
This is just the beginning. We’re actively building additional tools that expand this self-service model across the organization:
Player self-updates: A future release will allow players to update their own profiles directly. The initial rollout is coach-managed to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
Player Recognition & Awards - Coaches & Players will be able to add and manage player recognitions, rankings, and awards — keeping achievements current and visible.
Tournament Schedule Management - Coaches will be able to update tournament schedules so we can promote attendance and display events directly on team pages.
Team Profile Management Team-centric pages are coming, allowing coaches to update:
Team bios
Contact information
Other key data displayed on team pages
How Access Works
All coaches already have login access. The email displayed on your team page is the email you use to log in.
Once logged in, coaches will select their team, which loads their players and displays updateable fields.
Step-by-step instructions, field explanations, and troubleshooting are available in the Coach Resource Guide.
More tools are coming soon.
