Armor Elite Coach Onboarding Checklist

Step 1 - Get Connected

Join the Coach Communication Channel

We use GroupMe for real-time communication between all Armor Elite coaches and leadership.

This is where we share:

• Organization updates

• Event announcements

• Player opportunities

• Important program information

Your team may use any communication platform internally, but all organization communication happens through GroupMe.

Step 2 - Access Your Coach Dashboard

Your Coach Command Center is where you will manage your team inside the Armor Elite platform.

From this dashboard you can:

• Update your team page

• Add roster information

• Upload photos and videos

• Track camps your players are attending

• Manage your team's online presence

You will visit this page frequently.

Step 3 — Build Your Team Page

Each team has a dedicated page on the Armor Elite website.

Your team page helps:

• Promote your players

• Share team updates

• Highlight accomplishments

• Increase recruiting visibility

Once your roster is entered, players will also be able to activate their player profiles.

Player profiles allow athletes to:

• Connect with other players in the organization

• Track camps and events• Build recruiting visibility

Step 4 — Use Official Armor Elite Branding

To maintain a strong and consistent brand, please use official organization assets.

Step 5 - Order Team Uniforms

Armor Elite has an exclusive partnership with The Gluv Athletique for uniforms.

Uniform options include:

• Jerseys

• Pants

• Belts

• Socks

Step 6 - Player Gear & Equipment

• Helmet Stickers

  • Raised Armor Elite helmet stickers are available for purchase.

  • Orders should be placed through the website to track inventory, but payments are handled directly through Chad.

• Bags & Helmets

  • Players can purchase bags and helmets directly through Mizuno. Items ship directly to the player.

• Shoes

  • There is no required cleat or turf shoe, but players may purchase footwear through our partner discounts.

Step 7 - Spirit Wear & Coach Apparel

Armor Elite partners with BSN for spirit wear.

Our 365 Team Shop offers:

• T-shirts• Hoodies• Sweatshirts• Player apparel• Coach gear

The store is available year-round.

We will also host special pop-up shops throughout the year featuring premium brands like Lululemon, Jordan, and Lifestyle collections

Step 8 - Promote Your Team

Once your team joins the organization, we will coordinate a social media welcome announcement. Becki will coordinate with you to organize timing, etc.

We also maintain a Twitter/X player list so it’s easy to follow and support all athletes across the organization.

Step 9 - Fundraising & Non-Profit Status

Armor Elite operates as a 501(c) nonprofit organization.

Teams will be able to fundraise through Zeffy, where each team will have their own fundraising page.

Donation methods will include:

• Credit card• ACH• Check

Additional details will be shared as the program launches.

Step 10 - Coach Expectations

Armor Elite is building a legacy organization, and we expect coaches to help strengthen the culture.

Coaches are expected to:

• Support organizational events

• Promote Armor Elite teams on social media

• Collaborate with other teams

• Participate in shared practices when possible

• Represent the organization with professionalism

  
  

We’re not looking for teams that simply wear the logo.

We’re building a community of teams committed to growing the program together.
