Tournament Schedule Manager - Coach Quick Start Guide

Getting Started

Step 1: Select Your Team

• Click the "Select a team..." dropdown at the top

• Choose your team name from the list

• The page will load your team's tournament data and stats

Managing Your Schedule

Step 2: View Upcoming Tournaments

• Click the "Upcoming Tournaments" tab to see tournaments your team is registered for

• Each tournament shows:

  • Tournament name

  • Location

  • Tournament logo

  • Dates (from/to format)

  • Duration (how many days)

Step 3: Add Tournaments to Your Schedule

• Click the "Browse & Add" tab to see all available tournaments

• Filter by:

  • Sponsor

  • Location

  • Type (National/Regular)

  • Month

  • Team

  • Show Past Tournaments (checkbox)

• Select tournaments you want to add (checkboxes)

• Click "Add Selected Tournaments" button

• Success message confirms tournaments were added

Step 4: Remove Tournaments

• In the "Upcoming Tournaments" tab

• Click the delete button (trash icon) next to any tournament

• Tournament is removed from your schedule immediately

Recording Tournament Wins

Step 5: Add a Win Record

• Find the tournament in your "Past Tournaments" tab (or upcoming if already played)

• Click "Record a Win" button (trophy icon)

• A form will appear — fill in:

  • Age Group (required) e.g., "12U", "14U", "16U", "18U"

  • Placement (required) e.g., "1st Place", "2nd Place", "3rd Place"

  • Image (optional) upload a photo of your team or trophy

• Click "Save Win"

• Win is recorded and page stays on your selected tournament filter

Step 6: Update or Delete a Win

• Find the tournament with the win in "Past Tournaments" tab

• Click the edit button (pencil icon) to update age group/placement

• Click the delete button (trash icon) to remove the win record

Viewing Your Statistics

Team Stats Box (Right Side)

• Total Tournaments Played — number of tournaments in your schedule

• Total Tournaments Won — number of tournaments where you recorded a 1st place finish

• Stats update based on your current filter selection

Step 7: Filter by Season

• Click the "Filter by Season" dropdown (appears below "Past Tournaments" tab)

• Select a season (e.g., "Spring 2026", "Fall 2025")

• Page shows only tournaments from that season

• Stats update to reflect only that season

• After recording a win, the same season filter stays active

Season Order:

• Recent years first (Spring 2026, Fall 2026, Spring 2025, Fall 2025...)

• Then older years (Spring 2024, Fall 2024...)

• Then future years (Spring 2027, Fall 2027...)

Tips & Best Practices

✓ Always select your team first — nothing will work until you do

✓ Add tournaments early in the season, build your schedule upfront

✓ Record wins promptly, photos make wins memorable

✓ Use season filter to track progress, see how your team performs each season

✓ Check past tournaments — scroll down to see historical records
